600,000+ People Fleeing Liberal NY and CA

Texas and Florida are seeing huge population gains as over 600,000 people are fleeing New York and California. Sick of rising crime, inflation, and liberal “sanctuary cities,” thousands are fleeing south to Republican-led states with lower taxes, lower costs of living, and favorable business climates. Texas saw the largest population growth, with over 450,000 people moving to the state in 2022. Coming in a close second, the Sunshine state gained over 400,000 new residents. Meanwhile, people couldn’t wait to get out of liberal havens New York and California, as each state lost over 300,000 residents each.

NEWS ROLLUP: 600,000+ People Fleeing Liberal NY and CA

By News Rollup; January 30, 2023

According to recent data, Texas and Florida have seen the largest population gains in the past year, as over 600,000 people have fled New York and California. This trend reflects the growing desire of Americans to live in states with lower taxes, lower cost of living, and a more favorable business climate.

New York and California have long been known for their high taxes and high cost of living. These states have also implemented numerous regulations that have made it difficult for businesses to operate, leading to a lack of job opportunities and economic growth. As a result, many Americans have been forced to leave these states in search of better opportunities.

In contrast, Texas and Florida have consistently been ranked as two of the most business-friendly states in the country. With lower taxes, lower cost of living, and a more favorable business climate, these states have become attractive destinations for those looking for a better quality of life.

This trend should serve as a wake-up call for Democrat-run states like New York and California that have been driving businesses and residents away with their tax policies and overregulation. If these states do not change their policies, they risk losing even more residents and businesses to more economically competitive states.

In conclusion, the growing trend of Americans moving from high-tax, high-cost states like New York and California to states like Texas and Florida highlights the importance of promoting policies that encourage economic growth and provide residents with a better quality of life. States that want to attract and retain businesses and residents must take a hard look at their tax policies and regulations and make changes that will make them more economically competitive.
