The vehicle is adorned with pro-Trump and pro-police “blue line” flags, along with a massive decal on the truck’s rear end showing Biden lying horizontally, bound by rope, the 20-second clip posted Friday shows.
The footage was filmed on Long Island Thursday, while Trump was in the area attending the funeral of NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, who was shot and killed three days earlier by a career criminal.
Trump was ridiculed for the post despite his history of using grisly images to sway voters.
“Shocking, even for the depraved monster that he is,” posted former NBC senior exec Mike Sington on X.
“Trump has posted a video on Truth Social that depicts an image of President Biden tied up and bound in the back of a pickup truck.”
“Democrats and crazed lunatics have not only called for despicable violence against President Trump and his family; they are actually weaponizing the justice system against him,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung told CNN in defense of the Truth Social post.
But Biden campaign spokesman Michael Tyler said, “This image from Donald Trump is the type of crap you post when you’re calling for a ‘bloodbath’ or when you tell the Proud Boys to ‘stand back and stand by.’”
