Shocking video captured the moment a brazen band of bandits sprinted out of a Gucci store in Los Angeles after swiping thousands of dollars worth of luxury items – as a security guard walked helplessly behind them.

Nine men wearing hoodies are seen dashing out of the swanky store at the Westfield Century City mall at about 3 p.m. Monday carrying pricey bags and suitcases as onlookers record them on their phones.

One apparent store employee wearing a suit calls 911 and makes a feeble attempt to grab one of the thieves during the chaotic incident.

And a seemingly nonchalant security guard in uniform follows the gang out the door slowly as he makes a phone call – presumably to the cops.

During their flight, some of the men dropped a few items, which those behind them pick up.

They drove off in a white SUV and a red Kia, police told the Los Angeles Times.

It was unclear how much merchandise was stolen or if any arrests have been made, according to the news outlet.

Meanwhile, the uniformed guard was widely mocked for his apparent lack of urgency.

“That security guard is so unbothered,” a Twitter user wrote.

“The security guard was running to tell them that they forgot to get some items from the store,” another said.

“Security was like Gucci got insurance they’ll be iight,” a third quipped.

“The security guard was running to tell them that they forgot to get some items from the store,” another said.

The heist occurred on the same day three people rushed into the Jewels By Alan store in Irvine and used hammers to shatter glass displays, KABC reported.

They made off with more than $900,000 in jewelry in the grab-and-dash, police Sgt. Karie Davies told the outlet.

“It kind of just shows you the mentality that they either don’t think they’re going to get caught or they don’t care if they get caught,” Davies said.

The top 10 cities for retail crime are in California, with LA taking the top spot, according to the National Retail Federation.
