A Marine veteran known as “Blue Collar Brawler” was filmed running onto a highway to wrestle a 6-foot-long alligator — all while barefoot.
Animal trapper Mike Dragich was filmed in a camouflage muscle shirt and shorts as he tackled the gator on the I-95 — at one point casually sitting on its back while holding closed its terrifying jaws.
“Nope, your eyes weren’t playing tricks on you. That really happened,” the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office wrote while sharing the footage of the man they called a “local gator-wrangling legend.”
“Just another totally normal day in the Sunshine State,” the sheriff’s office said, adding: “Only in Florida.”
Dragich could be seen twisting and turning the gator around with a pole until he was able to jump on its back and tie its mouth shut. The video cut to him and a deputy lifting onto the back of a pickup truck.
“Wooo!” Dragich yells before the clip ends.
Dragich, a licensed Florida alligator trapper, posts shocking videos on his Instagram for his 364,000 followers showing him wrestling alligators and hunting.
The Marine is the founder of Project Savior Outdoors, a nonprofit that works to fight veteran suicide with outdoor hunting and fishing trips and retreats.
