Conservatives rage against Supreme Court for reining in Trump: ‘Time to start deporting rogue judges’

Despite the Supreme Court’s 6-3 conservative-to-liberal composition, right-leaning critics within the MAGA faithful fumed against the panel, with some even suggesting that Trump should outright ignore it — a move that would usher in a constitutional crisis.

“Ignore the Supreme Court. Arrest anyone who tries to enforce this [ruling],” pundit Jesse Kelly declared Saturday. “Dissolve the Supreme Court entirely if they push. You can deport foreigners or you don’t have a country anymore. There are no good choices now.”

The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis contended, “When we’re done deporting illegals, it’s time to start deporting rogue judges.”

The Supreme Court had issued a rare late-night emergency order by a 7-2 vote early Saturday temporarily blocking Trump from using the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to rapidly deport migrant alleged gang members.

The temporary pause specifically applied to Venezuelans in the Northern District of Texas and comes as the high court mulls its next steps in the case, after having previously told the Trump administration that it must give detainees an opportunity to challenge their detention before being deported.

Later Saturday, conservative Justice Samuel Alito released his dissent, backed by Clarence Thomas, which bashed the majority for moving so quickly and raised technical concerns about the decision.

“In sum, literally in the middle of the night, the Court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for its order,” Alito wrote in his blistering dissent.

When we’re done deporting illegals, it’s time to start deporting rogue judges.

Why did the Supreme Court not get involved when American citizens were being locked in DC’s Gulag without due process for years, but they are interfering with the deportation of criminal gang members from third world countries under the Constitutional Alien Enemies Act?

Josie Glabach, “the Redheaded Libertarian,” added on X, seemingly referring to the Capitol rioters, “Why did the Supreme Court not get involved when American citizens were being locked in DC’s Gulag without due process for years, but they are interfering with the deportation of criminal gang members from third world countries under the Constitutional Alien Enemies Act?”

Rogan O’Handley, “DC Draino,” raged, “Dear Supreme Court, by not allowing a President to do mass deportations after he won the popular vote based almost entirely off the promise to do so, you’re not only jeopardizing the fragile legitimacy of your institution, but you’re sending this country down a dark path we may never recover from.

“You failed to step in when 10 million illegals invaded our country. But now you step in to stop their deportations?”

Technically, mass deportations are allowed to continue under the traditional channels under the Supreme Court’s temporary pause.

Trump’s use of war powers bypassed the traditional deportation channels to expedite expulsions and sent alleged Tren de Aragua gangbangers to El Salvador’s notoriously brutal Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT).

“On November 5th 2024, America didn’t cast a single vote for the Supreme Court to be President. We voted for President Trump and MASS Deportations!” political commentator Gunther Eagleman chided.

Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project, which promotes conservative judges, wrote on X, “Simply read the introduction of the Solicitor General’s brief to prove how shameful, lawless, and silly the Supreme Court’s injunction is in this case.

“Let’s hope our Supreme Court justices get their heads out of their asses. They wear robes, not capes.”
