In the clip, paid agitator Jason Reedy is shown running over to Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton at a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event in LA’s Leimert Park with a camera in hand to harass him and other officers on scene.

When Reedy questioned’s Hamilton presence at the event , the officer said he was there “to make sure the kids don’t get molested” in an apparent barb directed at the protester.

“Your pigs molest children,” Reedy shot back.

While questioning Reedy’s history and motivations, Hamilton emphasized that he was “from here” and interested in protecting the community.

“I know your past, man. It’s my job to know. I know enough about you,” the deputy chief said.

It’s not clear how the heated exchange began, as the clip appeared carefully edited by Reedy, including included several cuts during the back and forth.

Reedy had been attempting to “bird-dog” LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell over a recent increase in police shootings, but instead directed his ire Hamilton after McDonnell left the park, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Hamilton later told the Times that the molestation comments were taken out of context and that he meant Reedy was bothering young officers at the scene, not abusing kids.

Hamilton also claimed that Reedy manipulated the recording by using AI, which Reedy disputed, by purposely editing out portions where the agitator hurled vitriol at the cop and questioned his heritage.

“That guy called me everything under the sun,” Hamilton said, telling the outlet he was at the park to protect the newer officers from falling prey to Reedy’s antics.

“I was referring to the kids in uniform, the 20-year-old officers. I said, ‘Stop molesting them…’ It’s unfair. These officers coming in today have nothing to do with the historical issues that we have in this department.”

Reedy is known for his aggressive tactics when confronting police, most frequently at Los Angeles Police Commission and City Council meetings.

He typically brings his young children to the events — and even straps his baby to his chest — when he hijacks meetings to shout obscenities at police and elected officials.

Reedy’s latest moment of infamy came when he menaced a California Post reporter on Tuesday, threatening: ”You are afraid of me, aren’t you?”
