Embarrassing turn out of anti-Trump protests in Downtown Los Angeles seen from above

Just hundreds of protesters showed up in Downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday for what organizers hyped as a massive “Free America Walkout” against President Donald Trump’s second term.

“Has protest fatigue officially hit Los Angeles?” posted one commenter on X. “Organizers for the latest TDS fueled temper tantrum, the ‘Free America Walkout’ can barely get a couple of hundred people to march against fascism, ICE, and all other things President Trump related.”

The walkout, which took place at various locations in SoCal, planned to see thousands of people leave work, school and shops at 2 p.m. across the United States.

This is the second major protest of Trump’s administration in 2026. The first protest called for an end to ICE raids.

Organizers of the walkout asked people to join in protest against: “ICE raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, families torn apart, attacks on our trans siblings, mass surveillance and terror used to keep us silent.”

The crowd met in front of Los Angeles City Hall and then marched slowly through the Downtown area.

Police kept a close watch on the procession.

Hundreds also gathered in Burbank, Pasadena, Venice, Santa Monica and Long Beach.

So far, no arrests have been reported.
