Sen. John Fetterman stepped out with his wife Gisele for a “date night” in Washington Wednesday — squashing rumors the pair had called it quits on their 16-year marriage.

The 54-year-old freshman lawmaker donned a tuxedo-patterned version of his iconic hoodie and shorts combo — which he recently modeled alongside The Post’s own Jon Levine — as he posed with his spouse at the black-tie Washington Press Club’s Congressional Dinner.

“Date Night,” wrote Fetterman (D-Pa.) as he shared a shot on X of the couple linking arms.

The Fettermans’ public appearance came just days after rumors had percolated online that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks after Gisele, 41, opted to quit social media late last year.

In the wake of her online absence, the gossip mill went into overdrive — with one social media post that claimed Gisele was “currently single” receiving more than 9.5 million views.

“I posted several months ago that i would be talking a break from social media. I was bored with it … i [sic] am a Pisces… it wasn’t adding anything to my life .. but leaving social media is somehow more exhausting than having it?!” the senator’s wife posted on X on Tuesday.

“You guys really are terrible, respectfully,” she added.

Meanwhile, Fetterman — who shares three kids with Gisele — slammed the rumors of their martial status as “absurd.”

‘”She’s right upstairs in my office right now. And this is absurd. I am not even sure why that we’d even be addressing,” he told DailyMail.com on Wednesday.

“I don’t even understand why there’s rumors because my wife clearly got tired of the online abuse from the same kind of crazies that show up at my home on Friday nights.”

“So how that now can turn into there’s an issue with our marriage is outrageous. … Like I said, she’s here in town right now and everything is wonderful,” he added.

The first-term senator has been a target of far-left hate after he voiced staunch support for Israel defending itself from Hamas terrorists in the aftermath of the Oct. 7 massacre.

His wife, too, became a target of online trolls in response to her husband’s stance.

“3 weeks into a social media break that may last another month or forever,” Gisele tweeted back in November. “PS. treating someone as simply someone’s spouse is insulting and minimizing. PSS. did you know male spouses don’t get treated this way? PSSS. no more cute animal pics for you.”
