Jurors see ‘strange’ Diddy text to Cassie after infamous 2016 hotel beating — as recording captures her pleading to keep ‘freak-off’ video hidden

The pair’s text exchange after the 2016 caught-on-video beating was revealed just minutes into Ventura’s fourth day on the stand in Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial, as his attorneys continued to grill her about her tumultuous decade-long relationship with the Bad Boy Records founder.

Jurors heard Ventura’s text from March 10, 2016 read aloud in the courtroom, in which she accused Combs of abuse during the altercation at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

“When you get f–ked up the wrong way you always want to show me that you have the power and you knock me around,” she wrote.

“I’m not a rag doll, I’m someone’s child.”

But Combs didn’t appear to treat the incident with its proper gravity — within days he texted Ventura that he was “horny” for her, jurors learned.

“I’m so horny for you!!!” Combs texted Ventura on March 9, 2016.

Ventura gave a cold response: “You are? Why? What made you feel that way?”

From the witness stand, the eight months pregnant Ventura said she felt the text was a “little strange” to receive just days after the attack.

Ventura, an R&B singer and mom of two, spent much of her time testifying about old messages and recordings from her turbulent relationship with the mogul.

She has testified that Combs made her participate in degrading sex parties called “freak-offs” that prosecutors allege were part of a wider pattern of sex trafficking and racketeering.

One clip of a 2014 audio recording played Friday featured Ventura screaming and threatening to kill a man who claimed he’d seen a sexually explicit video of her.

Ventura could be heard attempting to get more information out of the man about the alleged video he’d viewed but when he wouldn’t divulge helpful details she went off the rails.

“I will kill you if you don’t show me right now,” Ventura could be heard yelling in the recording. “I will cut you up and put you in the f—ing dirt right now.”

Ventura could be heard attempting to get more information out of the man about the alleged video he’d viewed but when he wouldn’t divulge helpful details she went off the rails.

“Put that s–t up right now,” the recording continued. “I’m tired of you talking s–t right now. It’s not going to be blood on my hands, someone else is going to do it.”

As Ventura, 38, listened from the witness stand, she leaned back in her chair very nonchalantly.

Jurors also learned that Ventura messaged Combs about what the man told her and the music producer told her not to let him “out of your sight.”

Revealing the exchange appeared to be an attempt by the defense to show Combs didn’t want the “freak-off” video to get out either, which Ventura acknowledged in her testimony.

She previously testified that she Combs threatened to release the videos on multiple occasions.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He could face life in prison, if convicted.
