The bottle used in the arson incident was a 40 ounce Olde English 800 malt liquor bottle that was filled with gasoline and a designer handkerchief, Jimenez testified.

“In my opinion, this was targeted,” Jimenez told the jury.

The fabric inside the bottle was a “silky material” which ultimately made the bomb less effective and limited the damage to the car.

“The fire smoldered out … and didn’t cause the damage that it was intended for,” Jimenez said.
