Luigi Mangione hearing postponed because alleged CEO murderer says he’s ill

“Apparently the defendant is ill today,” Judge Gregory Carro said right before the fourth day of testimony in the marathon pre-trial proceeding was set to begin.

“Yes,” Mangione’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo responded. Mangione’s ailment is unclear.

The hearing will resume Monday morning.

Mangione, 27, is trying to block prosecutors from showing jurors the key evidence that Altoona, Pennsylvania, cops found in his backpack after arresting him — including the gun he allegedly used to execute UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thomson  in Midtown last December.

The preppy University of Pennsylvania graduate is also attempting to convince the judge to bar several statements he made to police from being heard at his trial.

Mangione has pleaded not guilty to Thompson’s murder.
