The Mets are on a historic losing after dropping 11 straight games — and New Yorkers are starting to point the finger at none other than the new Big Apple mayor.

The beleaguered ball club lost their latest Sunday night, falling to the Chicago Cubs 2-1 in extra innings.

The down-and-out fanbase have been quick to point out that the diamond athletes have failed to muster up a single win since Mayor Zohran Mamdani held a photo op with Mr. and Mrs. Met.

The curse of the Hizzoner seemingly took effect on April 9. The Mets are off on Monday, so will not have another chance to break the mayoral enchantment on Tuesday night when they play the Twins.
