Miki Sudo sets new record at Nathan’s Famous Hotdog Eating Contest

Who says the Nathan’s Famous Hotdog Eating Contest needs Joey Chestnut to break records?

Reigning champ Miki Sudo took home women’s title at the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating contest Thursday, chowing down on a record-breaking 51 dogs in 10 minutes.

Mayoi Ebihara, of Tokyo, Japan, came in second with 37 dogs, while Arizona’s Michelle Lesco finished third with 23.5 wieners.

“Breaking 50 is a milestone for all women and I’m really excited to be a part of it,” she told The Post exclusively after her big win.

Sudo, a Florida native, beat her beef-eating competitors by a mile at the July 4 tradition.

Her 28-year-old rival, Mayoi Ebihara, of Japan, came in second with 37 dogs, while Arizona’s Michelle Lesco, 40, finished third with 23.5 wieners.

Sudo has reigned supreme for the last nine years — ever since she first competed back in 2014.After taking a brief break in 2021 when she was pregnant, Sudo returned in 2022 to reclaim her Mustard Yellow Belt throne after gobbling down 42 dogs.

Last year, she managed a winning 39-and-a-half hot dogs in 10 minutes.

Sudo’s previous personal best came in 2020 when she chowed down on a whopping 48.5 dogs in the beef-eating competition.

After taking a brief break in 2021 when she was pregnant, Sudo returned in 2022 to reclaim her Mustard Yellow Belt after gobbling down 42 dogs.
