Psycho husband allegedly murdered wife by clubbing her ‘so badly’ she was ‘unrecognizable’

A husband has been charged with clubbing his wife to death, beating her so viciously with a wooden plank that she was “unrecognizable,” according to police in Kentucky.

Cops found Richard Chesher, 67, covered in blood and standing at the entrance of his garage in Mt. Washington after a 911 call Friday — with wife Bonnie dead on the ground nearby, according to WKRC-TV.

Her battered body was wrapped in a garden hose, seemingly used to help drag her from the house to the garage, where her husband was trying to load her into the back of his truck, according to the arrest report.

Bonnie had been “beaten so badly around her face and head she was unrecognizable,” according to court docs seen by the outlet.

A trail of blood led inside the house, where officers found a blood-soaked, club-like plank believed to be the murder weapon.

The husband had tried to close the garage doors when cops swooped in, but was arrested without incident, according to the report.

Chesher was charged with domestic-violence murder as well as tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.

A judge set a bond of $1 million and entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf. He is next due in court on March 17.

One neighbor told WDRB that she never noticed any problems between the couple.

“You think you know someone kind of and then you see something on the news. It’s just eye-opening what people’s true colors are,” she said of the accused killer.
