Shocking video captured a Spirit Airlines employee in a heated confrontation on the check-in line at a Florida airport that escalated to the worker shouting at the passenger, “F—k you, too!”

The airline worker is seen telling the woman to hand over her boarding pass at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

“Show me your boarding pass! I want to see your boarding pass!” she says in the video, which was posted April 9 on TikTok and has garnered more than 8.2 million views.

The passenger opens up a document folder and shows it to the employee, who appears to jot down information from it.

“This Spirit employee is very offended because this lady said something to her,” the man shooting the video says. “I think she’s taking it a little too far. … I think it’s a little bit of an abuse.”

The two women walk shoulder to shoulder as the situation heats up before the Spirit staffer finally blurts out, “F—k you too!”

She then storms off as the crowd collectively gasps in astonishment.

The TikTok user then trains his camera on the passenger and asks her what she told the employee that would cause her to hurl the F-word, but she doesn’t reply and also walks away.

“Things you see when you travel as much as I do. The passenger definitely started it, but the airline employee lost the moral highground when she confronted the passenger for a second time,” he wrote.

“Initially she told her from the side that she had a filthy mouth and embarrassed the passenger in front of 5-10 people. The passenger walked away and just kind of took it,” the TikToker continued.

“The airline employe then came back and in a way wouldn’t let the passenger walk away. This is a very bad look for #spiritairlines but what do I know. I get passengers can be VERY rude but 99% of the people who saw this weren’t privvy to what the passenger may have initially said.

“I know I wasn’t till after the second encounter when the airline employee said the F-word followed by ‘too,’” he added.

Another user wrote, “I don’t know the situation, but when you’re working, you can never lose it like this, even though you want to.”

“Spirit employee is savage,” another said.

“My favorite part was the lady’s smirk after the employee said fu like she knew she was going to get her fire,” a third added.

The TikToker, whose account is called SightsSoundsFlavors, also posted a commentary on YouTube about the incident.

“This flight attendant, when she came the second time, her whole deal was … she wasn’t going anywhere,” he says. “And when the lady tried to leave, OK, she wouldn’t let her.

“She taking down her info, she’s got her info. But it wasn’t just about getting the info, it was about sort of a power trip because … see, she won’t let her move,” he says as he shows video of the confrontation.

“The whole thing is, she wasn’t to be the powerful one – she wants this lade to not be able to get away from her,” he continues.
