A local anchor went viral for his raw reaction when a car accident happened live on camera while he was presenting the traffic report.

KJ Jacobs, the traffic anchor and meteorologist at Cincinnati’s WCPO, was giving an update in front of a live camera feed this week when suddenly a vehicle violently rear-ended another car that was stalled near an exit lane on a highway.

“Oh sh!” Jacobs exclaims, pulling his hand up to his mouth, trying to stop himself before the on-air swear could escape his mouth.

“I’m so sorry… Literally just watched a crash happen in real time and I almost said something inappropriate,” Jacobs, flustered, continues.

Jacobs shared a clip of the slip-up on X, where it has been viewed more than five million times.

“OSh… First time seeing a crash during a traffic segment #blooper” he joked in the post.

Commenters jumped to the newsman’s defense.

“You should be allowed to say s-–t on the news if something like this happens live lol,” one user posted.

“That was an ‘Oh s-–t’ moment if i ever saw one,” quipped another.
