The Robinson R44 aircraft spun out of control on its approach to the helicopter garage at Pearland Regional Airport around 9:30 Sunday morning, the dizzying CCTV footage of the incident showed.
The Robinson crash-landed into a stationary helicopter, sending the propellers into the other aircraft before they eventually spun off.
Once the rotator blades stopped spinning, people from the garage rushed to assist the pilot – only for him to emerge completely unharmed, according to Jam Press.
The pilot was the only person in the helicopter at the time of the crash.
The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene, but no medical services were required.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
