Trump admits Putin ‘let me down’ on Ukraine peace talks as UK PM Keir Starmer says dictator ‘has shown his true face’

The Russian leader “let me down,” the US president said Thursday, while Trump has sought to negotiate an end to the war with Ukraine.

“I thought it might be among the easiest of the group” of conflicts to resolve, Trump added of the European war.

When Starmer spoke, ahead of Trump, the prime minister declared that “[Vladimir] Putin has shown his true face.”
