“While I am flattered by the support and speculation, the role of Press Secretary is not a role I am considering,” Habba, 40, said on X of the post she was widely rumored to be getting.
“Although I love screaming from a podium I will be better served in other capacities,” she joked.
“This administration is going to be epic! So proud of the Trump team, the latest appointments and 47!”
It comes just days after Habba said she would “very seriously” consider the opportunity after being asked repeatedly during a Fox News appearance about recent reports that she was a front-runner for the role.
“I leave it to the president and the three people that are on my board of directors — that’s Luke, Chloe and Parker, my children. Everybody will know in time,” the attorney told host Sean Hannity.
She refused to elaborate on whether she’d had any discussions with the Trump-Vance transition team about serving in the incoming administration.
“They are killing it on all fronts … It’s time to have advocacy for ‘America First,’ and whatever that looks like for President Trump and his team, I trust it. It’s a decision for all of them to make. Not me,” Habba told the outlet.

Habba, who founded the New Jersey-based law firm Habba Madaio & Associates, joined Trump’s legal team back in 2021.
She has represented the 45th president in several of his high-profile legal cases — including E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit and New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil fraud case.
Trump hasn’t yet revealed who will take on the press secretary role.
Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Stephanie Grisham and Kayleigh McEnany served in the role during Trump’s first stint in the White House.
