Jean Pierre Rengifo-Arteaga, 23, was shot in the head, right forearm and abdomen at his Corona home on 96th Street around 7:20 p.m. and later pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital, police said.

Police did not have a motive for the shooting.

No arrests have been made.

Just over two hours later, at 9:30 p.m., a man was shot multiple times in the back at 1911 Anthony Ave., near East Tremont Avenue in Mount Hope, cops said.

The victim, 24, who had not been publicly identified, was later pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital, police said.

There have been no arrests.
